Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center is a free standing full-service medical center, with a staff of full-time Board Certified Rheumatologists based in Bellevue, Washington.

Arinola Dada, MD, FACR.
Arthritis & Osteoporosis
Dr. Arinola Dada is a highly accomplished rheumatologist with a diverse background and a deep commitment to patient care and research. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, she earned her undergraduate and MD degrees from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Dada then returned to the United States to further her medical training, completing her Internal Medicine residency at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh (now University of Pittsburgh) and subsequently pursuing a Fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Washington, Seattle.
Dr. Dada holds board certifications in Rheumatology and Clinical Densitometry, showcasing her expertise in the field. With over two decades of experience as a practicing rheumatologist since 2001, she not only excels in her role but also wears multiple hats as a dedicated mother, a passionate teacher, a mentor, and a sought-after speaker.
Her journey began as a science researcher, and she later joined the University of Washington as a clinical instructor in Rheumatology, further enriching her knowledge and sharing it with others.
Dr. Dada’s clinical interests span a wide range, including Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Gout, Psoriatic arthritis, Uveitis, Myositis, Antiphospholipid Antibodies, Systemic Lupus, and Osteoporosis. Her extensive expertise makes her a valuable resource for patients seeking specialized care.
She is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and actively participates in numerous professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology, Washington Rheumatology Alliance, and the Arthritis Foundation. Dr. Dada also serves as a committee chairperson for the Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR), demonstrating her commitment to advancing women in the field of rheumatology.
In addition to her clinical work and commitment to patient education, Dr. Dada is a paid speaker on both local and national circuits, including engagements at the American College of Physicians’ annual meeting and the American College of Rheumatology. Her expertise and engaging speaking style have made her a sought-after presenter at prestigious medical conferences.
Furthermore, Dr. Dada is leading Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center (OAOC) in bringing clinical research opportunities to patients in the Seattle area, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and treatment options.
Her exceptional contributions to rheumatology have earned her numerous accolades, including being recognized as a Top Doc for multiple years in Arthritis Today, participating in the National Arthritis Foundation’s ‘My Doc Rocks’ program, and receiving accolades in the Seattle Met magazine. Dr. Arinola Dada’s unwavering dedication to patient care, education, research, and her impactful speaking engagements make her a respected and invaluable figure in the field of rheumatology.
Dr. Deepa Gali
Dr. Deepa Gali is an accomplished Rheumatologist and has a passion for treating autoimmune diseases and inflammatory arthritis. Dr. Gali received her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) in India. She completed Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency at Louisiana state University and her Rheumatology fellowship at Wayne State University/Henry Ford Medical Center.
She has been practicing as a Rheumatologist in Washington for the past 7 years. She is known for her expertise in chronic, severe rheumatological conditions. She believes in being fully present for her patients – listening with empathy and spending as much time as a patient needs. She has helped countless patients find relief from their symptoms and lead healthier, more active lives. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in rheumatology in order to provide the best possible care to her patients.
She has a special interest in treating Psoriatic Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Gout. She is also interested in treating pregnant women with rheumatological diseases. These patients often need significant support to go through the entire process of pregnancy and prepare for postpartum care with chronic rheumatological diseases.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and traveling to new places. Her dedication to her work and her community make her an asset to any team.
MEET OUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS
Katie Cristiano, ARNP
Katie originally grew up in southern California. She graduated from nursing school at Mount St. Mary’s University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in psychology. After working for 7 years as a nurse, in a variety of settings, she went back to school through the University of Cincinnati and received a Master of Science in Nursing through their family nurse practitioner program.
Katie focuses on osteoporosis and has obtained special training in the performance and reading of bone density tests. She also focuses on holistic treatments. Kaite believes that exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management are important in controlling a patient’s disease state. These are often needed in addition to pharmacologic management.
Katie finds rheumatology to be a fulfilling field as there are many opportunities to improve the patient’s quality of life. One of her favorite parts of the job is providing teaching and education to the patients about their disease state so they may become their own best advocates.
In her free time, she loves exploring new books, restaurants, coffee shops, and watching baseball and football with her husband.
Tierra Anderson, ARNP
Tierra Anderson is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 15 years of direct patient care experience. She is ready and eager to serve patients at Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center.
Tierra earned her BSN degree at Pace University in New York City. She worked as a registered nurse on an ICU unit for several years before returning to school in order to get her master’s degree in Acute Care Nursing at the University of Maryland. Since obtaining her advanced practice degree, Tierra has worked in both primary care and hospital settings. She has treated adults of all ages, with a particular interest in the geriatric community. She loves working in Rheumatology because it is a challenging yet rewarding specialty.
Tierra was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She has always held a passion for patient care, volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes even as a pre-teen. Tierra takes great pride in empowering her patients to adopt a holistic-based proactive approach to health.
Tierra is a recent transplant to the Washington area so in her free time she enjoys sightseeing and hiking with her friends!

Cristine R., MN, RN, Infusion Nurse at OAOC
This month, we’re excited to spotlight one of our dedicated team members at Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center, Christine R., an MN, RN, Infusion Nurse who has been with us for 14 months.
In her role, Christine focuses on educating patients about their medications and providing safe, comfortable care. Her favorite part of the job is building relationships with her patients, truly getting to know them and their needs.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys reading and cherishes her time playing with her children. A fun fact about her that many might not know is that she has a twin sister! Looking ahead, she dreams of traveling to Scotland—a beautiful destination on her bucket list.
